The trophy for the final of Major League Cricket for the year 2026 is now won by LA Knight Riders without any doubt. LAKR edged home against Washington Freedom by a single run in a tense final, with Sunil Narine taking the Player of the Match award thanks to his excellent spell of 3/13 that contributed to the victory.

It was a memorable win for the Knight Riders franchise but also another trophy added to the already remarkable collections of Andre Russell and Narine. Both West Indies stars have over the years become synonymous with success across the global leagues, cementing their place among the most successful T20 cricketers. Today’s T20 cricket allows players to compete in tournaments all over the world, from the IPL and CPL to the PSL, SA20, ILT20 and MLC 2026. A handful of cricketers have made the most of these chances, winning silverware for their teams season after season.

Here’s a look at cricketers with most T20 titles in history of the sport.

5. Andre Russell – 12 T20 Championships

Andre Russell is known as one of the most destructive all-rounders the format has ever produced. His last championship was with the Los Angeles Knight Riders in MLC 2026, his 12th T20 championships.

Russell has been there time and time again to deliver when the chips are down, be it by hammering out rapid runs at the death or creating vital wickets with the ball. He has had successful stints in the Indian Premier League, Caribbean Premier League, Pakistan Super League, Major League Cricket and many more leagues.

Russell has been a little banged up in his career, but when he’s been on the field, he’s made an impact. Even in his playing twilight, he remains one of the biggest match-winners among players with most franchise trophies.

4. Sunil Narine – 13 T20 Titles

Sunil Narine has entered the elite club of players with the most T20 titles after leading Los Angeles Knight Riders to the 2026 MLC title.

Narine has been one of the most valuable players in franchise cricket for more than 10 years. His mystery spin has troubled batsmen across continents while his aggressive batting at the top of the order has made him a genuine all-round asset.

The West Indies spinner has enjoyed huge success with Kolkata Knight Riders, picking up multiple Knight Riders titles, as well as being part of winning campaigns in the Caribbean Premier League, Major League Cricket and ILT20. His ability to deliver in high pressure matches keeps him as one of the most dependable players in the shortest format.

3. Shoaib Malik – 15 T20 Trophies

Former Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik had one of the longest and most successful franchise cricket careers and won 15 T20 titles across leagues.

Malik played for teams in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Caribbean and many other tournaments around the world. His reliable middle order batting and useful off-spin made him a key part of a number of franchises over the years.

Malik was also a captain of many teams and besides his batting skills he used his experience to guide the younger players in pressure situations. He has been so consistent across formats and leagues and has one of the biggest T20 franchise records of the modern era.

2. Dwayne Bravo – 17 T20 Titles

Dwayne Bravo has been one of the few cricketers to impact franchise T20 cricket. The former West Indies all-rounder retired as one of the format’s greatest performers, having won an incredible 17 titles.

Bravo was renowned for his clever variations with the ball in the death overs and his knack for getting valuable runs down the order. His boisterous personality also made him one of the most popular players in franchise cricket.

He has won several IPL titles with Chennai Super Kings and several CPL titles with the Trinbago Knight Riders. Prior to coaching, Bravo plied his trade around the world, lending his wealth of experience to the next generation of players.

1. Kieron Pollard – 18 T20 Championships

The first on the list is Kieron Pollard who holds the record for the most T20 championships in cricket history. The former West Indies skipper has won an incredible 18 titles in a career that has lasted nearly two decades. Pollard was central to the Mumbai Indians’ dominance and played a key role in the franchise becoming one of the most successful teams in the history of the IPL. He has also won titles with Trinbago Knight Riders, MI Emirates and other franchises in global leagues apart from India.

His ability to finish games under pressure, leadership and power-hitting made him one of the most sought after IPL winning players of his generation. Pollard has retired from the IPL but continues to play in some leagues and is still an influential presence in the shortest format.

With franchise cricket spreading across the globe, cricket records like these will only become harder to break. New tournaments such as Major League Cricket and established competitions continue to produce T20 league winners, but staying consistent for a decade or more is a different ball game. For now Pollard’s tally remains but Narine and Russell are chipping away at the margin with each successful season.
